We are very pleased to announce our tutor for the referees clinic in Nicosia, Cyprus on 11-12 May 2024. He is the highly experienced basketball referee Žarko Tomšič from Slovenia.

Basketball Referee

From 1975 to 2009 he was a referee at all levels in Slovenia as well as in former Yugoslavia

Wheelchair basketball referee

He started his career as a wheelchair basketball referee back in 1979 and was an acting referee until 2009. From 1985 he became an international wheelchair basketball referee.

Instructor and supervisor

Referee and supervisor on european clubs competitions, European Championships, World Championships and Paralympics – from 1999 to now.

Member of IWBF Europe Executive council from 2015
